Professor Martin Z. Bazant was awarded the Alexander Kuznetsov Prize in Theoretical Electrochemsitry by the International Society of Electrochemistry. According to the information page for the prize, "The Alexander Kuznetsov Prize is awarded every two years to a living individual who has made groundbreaking contribution to the theory of electrochemical phenomena." Professor Bazant feels "deeply honored and grateful to all [of his current] and prior group members and collaborators who helped make this possible."
