Chan is a graduate student pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering in the Bazant Group. He obtained his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Caltech in 2022. During this time, he conducted research on hydrogel infusion-enabled additive manufacturing in Professor Julia Greer’s lab. His current research is focused on the electrochemical separations of metal ions such as nickel and cobalt.
