Undergraduate StudentFelix Watson is an undergraduate pursuing an MEng in Materials Science and Engineering at Imperial College London. He joined the Bazant group as a visiting researcher in July 2025. His work is focused on developing transmission line models to predict lithium plating in porous graphite electrodes. Previously, he completed UROPs with the Electrochemical Science and Engineering group at Imperial, where he worked on parameterisation techniques for the P2D model. He also collaborated with the Mathematical Modelling for Sustainability group at the University of Warwick, developing electrode coating fluid dynamic models within the PyBaMM framework. Outside of the lab, he enjoys playing rugby, running and reading.
