Graduate StudentHari is pursuing his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and joined the Bazant group in January 2026. He completed his B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 2025. During his undergraduate studies, he spent two years working in computational/theoretical polymer physics and electrochemistry, including a project with Prof. Ananth Rajan on the continuum modeling of electrical double layers.
His current work will focus on quantum theory and simulations for batteries and rare earth separations. He also maintains an interest in polymer field theory and complex analysis. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to instrumental music, playing cricket, and chess.
