Ella is a Chemical Engineering student in the Class of 2028 and joined the Bazant Group in September 2026. Her research focuses on developing fluorescence-based methods to quantify rare-earth elements and support electrochemical separation processes. She is interested in energy and sustainability, as well as applying chemical engineering principles to electrochemical and materials systems. In her free time, she enjoys running, cooking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.
