Undergraduate StudentHayim Sims is a second-year undergraduate at MIT, pursuing degrees in Materials Science and Biological Engineering. He joined the Bazant Group in May 2026 with the goal of applying analytical and computational models to understand electrokinetics at material interfaces and better optimize energy transfer. When not engaged in research, Hayim enjoys directing and acting in theater productions, reading eclectically, and repairing mechanical watches.
