Jad Ali

Jad is a third-year undergraduate student in chemical engineering, focusing his degree in sustainable energy. In spring 2023, he worked with Prof. Alan Myerson to research the influence of solvent volume on the nucleation induction time of polymorphic molecules. Afterwards, he joined the Bazant lab in spring 2024, researching Lithium-ion battery rejuvenation and recycling. He is interested in exploring novel research methods in the energy industry to help it reach net zero by 2050. In his free time, Jad enjoys cooking, listening to music, and playing badminton.
