Amelia Dai joined the Bazant group in 2024. She received her B.A.Sc. in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of British Columbia. Her passion is in developing accessible and sustainable energy solutions. Under the guidance of Prof. David Wilkinson, she worked on anode development for water treatment and flow field design for PEM water electrolyzers during her undergraduate degree. Between her school terms, she interned at various companies ranging from lab to manufacturing scales, including a year in the Cell Development Lab at Tesla, optimizing the formation process in Li-ion batteries. In her free time, she enjoys climbing, reading, painting, appreciating nature and cute animals.
